Preschool Story Time
On Friday, September 15th, 10:30 a.m., storytime for preschool children begins. Please note this change of day. Many mothers, caregivers, and centers requested this time for maximum attendance. We are looking forward to a special 30 minutes of stories, songs, crafts, and socializing. What a great way to begin the weekend, or end the week. No registration is necessary and we welcome children each Friday morning this fall.
Leadership Collection
A grant from the Dane G. Hansen Foundation allowed the “County Connections” Leadership Class of 2006 to obtain a leadership library. Each title had multiple copies and these books are ready for use through the JJPL. Title include “Whale Done!” by Ken Blanchard, “Fish!” and “Fish! Tales” by Stephen C. Lundin Ph.D., John Christensen and Harry Paul, “Who Moved My Cheese?” by Spencer Johnson M.D., ” Good to Great” by Jim Collins, and “Leadership Challenge” by James Kouzes and Barry Posner.
Sustainable Living
John Gitchell was unable to travel to Quinter this past weekend. Our educational event had been rescheduled to October 21st.
